At room temperature, 16.2g (0.1mol) of phenylpentanone and 30.9g (0.3mol) of sodium bromide were added to a 500mL round-bottom flask, respectively. After stirring well, 24g (0.2mol) of 30% hydrochloric acid was added, and 19g (0.15mol) of 30% hydrogen peroxide was slowly added. After the Chemicalbook bundle was added, the reaction was continued for 1~2h. After the TLC monitoring, the stirring was stopped, the mixture was separated, washed with saturated sodium carbonate and saturated salt water, combined with the organic phase, concentrated and dried with anhydrous magnesium sulfate to obtain 2-bromo-1-phenyl-1-pentone, bright yellow oil liquid, the yield was 95%. Purity 98% (HPLC method).
